Admission Procedures
Students planning to enroll at Ouachita Technical College for the first time or re-entering should complete the following admission procedures:
1. Complete an Application for Admission and return it to the Office of Student Affairs.
2. Provide proof of two (2) measles, (1) mumps and (1) rubella
immunization or an authorized waiver signed by the appropriate AHD official and return it to the
Office of Student Affairs.
3. Submit ACT, SAT, COMPASS or ASSET Placement scores to the Office of Student Affairs.
If you do not have placement scores, you can take the ASSET or COMPASS assessment
at OTC for a fee of $10.
4. Submit an official high school transcript, or proof of GED.
5. If college transfer, submit official transcripts from each institution attended.
6. Students enrolling for the first time, or returning at Ouachita Technical College for the
Fall 2009 semester will be required to attend an orientation session prior to registering
for classes. All the above documents must be submitted prior to attending an orientation
session.
