Logging Into Blackboard
You can access the Blackboard sign in page from any page on this web site by clicking "Online Courses" under the Log In To graphic located on the left of every page. You may also bookmark or save this address to your favorites. http://blackboard.coto.edu/webct/entryPageIns.dowebct
Enter your Blackboard (WebCT) UserID and Password described in the "What's my WebCT UserID and Password?" described below .
- Your Blackboard (WebCT) UserID is your first letter of your first name + your last name + last four digits of your College of the Ouachitas Student ID, all in small letters without any spaces.
- Example: John Public's UserID would be jpublic1234
- Your Password is your lastname+####, followed immediately by the last four digits of your College of the Ouachitas Student ID (not your Social Security number).
- Example: If the last 4 digits of John Public's College of the Ouachitas Student ID is 1234, then his Password would be public1234
- Click the "Log in" button.
- When the “Change Password” box appears, change your password. Write down your new password and store it in a secure place where only you will have access to it.
- You should receive a letter before the start of the semester with your username and password along with additional instructions.
