Costume Contest
OTC will be sponsoring a themed costume contest on Thursday, October 29th to wrap up the conclusion of Cyber Security Awareness month. The theme of the contest is dual purposed; first to promote Cyber Security Awareness and second to promote awareness of the flu pandemic that is sweeping across the globe. This contest is open to all employees and students. All contestants must be dressed according to theme. Costumes pertaining to Cyber Security Awareness could be along the lines of computer viruses, a Trojan horse virus, worms, hackers, dumpster divers, or anything that deals with information security. Costume ideas pertaining to the flu pandemic could include ways to prevent the spread of the virus (hand sanitizers, soap, a box of tissues) and maybe even some variation of the flu virus itself.
Costumes will be judged on the afternoon of the 29th at 11:00 am in the Administration Building Foyer with a first place prize of two tickets to the Arkansas Razorback vs. Mississippi State football game being played in Little Rock in November. A second place prize of OTC goodies which include the much sought after OTC golf umbrella will also be awarded.
