Associate Degree in Nursing Information Sheet

1. You will be expected to furnish your own transportation to clinical sites. This includes sites in Malvern, Benton, Little Rock, and any additional sites added during the school year.
2. You will be required to attend clinical during specific hours. These will be day shifts (some beginning at 6 a.m.) every other Saturday and Sunday. Most day shifts will be between 6:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. These times may vary depending on the clinical facility.
3. Classroom instruction will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 or 9:00 p.m.
4. Ouachita Technical College participates in all state and federal financial aid programs. Applications and information are available to all students through the Office of Financial Aid.
5. The Ouachita Technical College Associate Degree Program follows a strict attendance policy. Students are required to attend all scheduled assignments (class, clinical rotations, and special assignments).
6. The Associate Degree Nursing Student will be required to wear the student uniform to the clinical areas unless otherwise notified.

Admission for the LPN to RN Program is very competitive and completion of minimum requirements does not guarantee admittance to the Program.

Students will be notified of their acceptance status in a timely manner. Students not meeting the minimum criteria will also be notified of their status.
